A Twinkle In My Eye
A cordless toaster
Posted on Fri, 22 Jun 07 at 03:51 by Chris Matts into Bad Patents
I woke up this morning from a dream involving toast. I’m an avid hiker but I also love toast. I would love to have toast in the morning when trekking through the Himalayas.
The problem I have is that the nearest electrical socket is several hundred miles away.
Help!

This is the commercial reason for building the dream machine. To provide a project management tool that allows communities to forma round ideas. Hopefully some people will make money from their activity.

Great idea Chris. I work for a toaster design company. I am fed up of designing white/cream/off white toasters.
Would you like me to design an “eXtreme toaster”?
I’ll upload some design ideas later.

Hi Chris
I am currently completing my PhD is Quantum Basket Weaving and Knitting. I have designed a material that generates electricity as you walk. The only problem is I have is that I do not have a battery that will store the charge and release it quick enough.

Look no further. My research into purple polymors has revealed a material that will accept a trickle charge over an extended period and then I use a composite of something like Laser technology to release that charge in a quick burst. It will probably cook four pieces of toast with a bit of juice to spare.

If we have juice to spare I’d like to plug my Mum’s cup element into it to produce a cup of tea.
Imagine tea and toast for breakfast anywhere in the world!
Heaven is any place on earth.

Guys
You are not going to believe this!
Bad boy corporation have started producing a Cordless breakfast product! It looks like they lifted the ideas and design straight from this site.
Life sucks.

Worry not. There are about 200 of us involved in this dream. We have set up a dream world where we suggest fun ways to use our networks to mess up Bad boys product release.
I spoke to Chris #1 and he has posted the story to the hiking e:mail groups and spoken to the main Hiking magazine. They are writing an article on this, so expect their support. The article will be called something like “Bad boy steal from hikers and try to sell it back to us.”
We could go after them in court but that would just make the lawyers rich.
